Waterloo Gardens Going-Out-Of-Business Sale to Begin July 4th
July 03, 2013

Exton, PA Location Featuring Discounts from 20% to 40% on All Inventory

On Thursday, July 4, 2013, Waterloo Gardens will begin closing its last remaining store location in Exton, Pennsylvania. The store closing event will involve significant discounts on all merchandise, as well as store furniture, fixtures and equipment in order to wind down company operations.

Waterloo Gardens has operated as a family-owned business since its founding in 1942. Over the past 70 years, the company has supplied the community with the area’s largest selection of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, landscaping supplies and outdoor furniture, as well as home, lawn and garden accents. Despite the company’s best efforts to recapitalize the business since filing bankruptcy in 2012, the company has decided to close its doors.

“We want to thank our customers and our wonderful employees for supporting our business over the past 70 years. We have such a connection to this community and are very saddened to have to close,” said Bobby LeBoutillier, President, Waterloo Gardens. “We hope customers take advantage of the sale event, which will feature extraordinary savings on all our products.”

Customers will find significant discounts on lawn and garden supplies, plants, trees and shrubs, home décor and outdoor and indoor furniture from brands like Winston, Brown Jordan and Gensun with savings ranging from 20% to 40% off. Waterloo Gardens will honor gift cards and merchandise credits throughout the sale event. All sales made on or after July 4, 2013 will be final. Returns on purchases made prior to July 4, 2013 will be accepted in compliance with the return policy in effect on the date of purchase.

Gordon Brothers Group will oversee the store closing sale on the company’s behalf. The store closing sale will continue until all inventory has been sold.

“The closing of this well-respected garden center and gift shop will mark the end of an era and it will surely be missed by the community. We encourage customers to come and experience Waterloo Gardens and take advantage of the great savings while the largest selection of products is still available,” Tim Shilling, Managing Director, Gordon Brothers Group’s Retail Division stated. “It is a tremendous opportunity to find great deals on gifts, landscaping supplies, outdoor furniture and much more for the summer season.”
