2008 Rose Extravaganza
May 17 & 18, 2008

The Waterloo Gardens Rose Extravaganza will be held the weekend of May 17th and 18th, rain or shine. We will be showcasing roses of all types and varieties, including Drift roses, Hybrid teas and Grandifloras, David Austins, Romantica roses, Floribundas, Climbers, and of course, the fantastic Knock-Out series. Best of all, 95% of these roses will be locally grown by the Conard-Pyle Co., located in West Grove, PA.

The Conard-Pyle Co. was founded in 1897, and was primarily a retail mail order firm specializing in roses. They are now one of the largest growers on the East Coast, growing over 5 million Star® Quality Plants in their PA and MD nurseries. This includes roses and container-grown woody ornamentals. Representatives from Conard-Pyle, along with our nursery experts, will be here throughout the Rose Extravaganza to assist customers in selecting the perfect rose.

Look for Conard-Pyle’s brand name Star® Quality Plants and Star® Roses throughout our nursery, along with a Locally Grown sticker or sign. Also, as part of the Rose Extravaganza, look for displays of rose companion plants, helpful tips and brochures on caring for your roses.
